For an honest starting point, most pads and slabs run around $9 to $15 per square foot, with thickness and any vapor barrier moving the figure. We size and price it to what the pad will carry.

Yes. Those are heavy, concentrated loads, so we build up the thickness and the reinforcement and pour an air-entrained mix. A hot tub also wants a level base that won't heave with frost, so drainage and a below-frost approach count as much as the steel. Name the gear that's going on it and we build the pad to carry it.
